Digital Content Specialist

About the role

Red Energy is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to join its Digital Marketing team. Reporting to the Digital Experience Manager, you will shape and optimise the content strategy across the company’s digital channels, ensuring visibility on search engines and emerging AI platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute the content roadmap for the Living Energy blog, aligning with SEO and LLM discovery goals.
• Develop and manage content beyond the website, including earned media, industry publications, and syndication opportunities.
• Write, brief, and edit content in collaboration with internal SMEs, external contributors, and approved AI tools.
• Partner with web, CRO, and performance media teams to ensure content drives conversion and self‑service outcomes.
• Influence AI model training signals through review platforms, award submissions, and community discussions.
• Define and track metrics for content performance, reporting on organic search, engagement, and AI visibility trends.
• Build relationships with SMEs to align content strategy with business growth and evolving priorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO, GEO, or content roles, preferably within the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of generative engine optimisation (GEO) and how large language models surface content.
• Proven expertise with Google Analytics 4, including event tracking and custom reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex analytics insights clearly to diverse stakeholders.
