Digital BIM Lead – Building Services

About the role

Due to strategic growth, AECOM is seeking a Digital BIM Lead for Building Services to join its National Building Engineering team. The role can be based in major Australian cities and will drive BIM execution and digital coordination across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead BIM execution planning and digital coordination, embedding consistent standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct clash detection and model coordination, upholding BIM standards and ISO19650 principles.
• Guide evaluation and implementation of digital tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project‑based BIM teams.
• Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultants.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualifications or industry experience in Building Services (mechanical, fire, hydraulic).
• Proven experience in BIM coordination and digital delivery within construction or infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Australian citizenship preferred; defence clearance highly regarded.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Working knowledge of coordination platforms such as Revizto and Navisworks.
