Dewatering Technician

About the role

Karlayura Personnel, an Indigenous workforce provider, is seeking an experienced Dewatering Technician to install and maintain water pumps, generators, dewatering trailers, HDPE pipelines and associated valving. The role is described as an ongoing opportunity with immediate mobilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Install equipment in a high-pressure environment, including water pumps (submersible and skid), generators, dewatering trailers, HDPE pipelines and associated valving.
• Install, operate and maintain company-owned and hired plant equipment to company and client expectations of cleanliness and preparedness, following manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete all mandatory installation and testing documentation.
• Operate and maintain company crane trucks, rigging gear and equipment, keeping them clean and ready.
• Inspect crane trucks, rigging gear and equipment daily.

Required profile

• Current Rio Induction (mandatory).
• Manual WA HR class driver's licence.
• Relevant trade qualification as a mechanical fitter, pipe fitter or a poly welding ticket.
• Current and valid high-risk work licences: forklift (LF), DG, C6.
• Valid load restraint training and Chain of Responsibility drivers' training.
• Wellmaster system training.

Required skills

• C6 (or CV Hiab bare minimum), HR, IT loader, telehandler, skidsteer and basic rigging.
• Chainsaw and polywelding experience.
• Bore experience.
• Operating tickets for excavator (LE) and IT loader.
