DevOps Engineer – Automation & Cloud Infrastructure Lead

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to lead automation and cloud infrastructure initiatives across multiple teams, including Solution Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure. You will work in a technology‑focused environment that prioritises client satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure CI/CD design and engineering processes meet standards, include controls, and provide compliance reporting.
• Design, deploy and maintain scalable, highly available, fault‑tolerant systems on AWS.
• Build and manage secure, highly available Kubernetes clusters in AWS.
• Collaborate with engineers to streamline environment management through automation.
• Automate software deployment, testing and configuration management using Terraform, Jenkins and related tools.
• Architect and maintain AWS environments using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC and IAM.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Monitor and optimise performance of AWS infrastructure and applications.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Proven delivery of major programs in complex, agile environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud engineering principles and design.
• Extensive experience with AWS and multi‑cloud environments.
• Expertise in IaC tools, especially Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Relevant Cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus.
