Development & Project Manager

About the role

Veriu Group operates 25 hotels across Australia through its brands Punthill Apartment Hotels and Veriu Hotels & Suites, and is expanding toward 80 hotels. It works with developers who build properties to its specifications so it can take out long-term leases, and occasionally refurbishes and rebrands existing hotels. As Development & Project Manager you will represent the tenant throughout the development-to-delivery process, balancing relationships with results.

Key responsibilities

• Pipeline management and communication with stakeholders
• Assist with new opportunity proposals and negotiations
• Mark up plans with tenant-side comments
• Manage the tenant-side development process from start to delivery
• Manage FF&E design, procurement, delivery and installation
• Update developer brief documents
• Oversight and management of internal refurbishment projects

Required profile

• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or visa with approved working rights)
• Proven construction project management experience
• Hotel or residential project management experience
• Experience in tenant fit-out
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to travel regularly to development sites locally and interstate
