Desktop Support Analyst – 12 Month Fixed Term

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting users across the ANZ region from our North Sydney office. The role focuses on delivering fast, reliable technical assistance to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Troubleshoot incidents via phone, Microsoft Teams, email, ticketing system and in‑person.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops and other end‑user devices.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring proper setup and asset recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation for tickets and support procedures.
• Deliver user training and guidance on IT best practices.
• Support IT procurement and asset management in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• 2–4 years of corporate desktop support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 (O365, Teams) and network troubleshooting.
• Relevant certifications such as Modern Desktop Administration, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals and ITIL Foundation.
• Experience supporting users through multiple channels (phone, Teams, walk‑ins, tickets).
• Customer‑first mindset and a valid driver’s licence with willingness to travel to remote offices.
