Design Engagement Lead

About the role

Fisher & Paykel Appliances is seeking a Design Engagement Lead to drive its design engagement strategy across the region. Based in Alexandria, Sydney, you will lead a high‑performing team, manage flagship Experience Centre events and nurture tier‑1 relationships with specifiers, designers and architects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the regional Design Engagement team, setting expectations and fostering a collaborative culture.
• Maintain the Experience Centre to premium standards and oversee its events calendar, including SDA events, partner activations and commercial showcases.
• Manage a direct portfolio of tier‑1 SDA relationships, driving brand advocacy and specification outcomes.
• Translate global strategy into regional execution plans, using the Design Engagement toolkit, Salesforce and programme platforms.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a luxury or design‑adjacent environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage high‑value client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills across designers, consumers, internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Ability to read floor plans and elevations.
