Design Director – Healthcare

About the role

Paper + Spark, an award‑winning Australian marketing agency, is seeking a Design Director with a strong focus on healthcare. Based in Barangaroo and working in a hybrid model, you will report to the Head of Creative and Production and lead the visual direction of campaigns, brand collateral and detailed layout projects.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, design and deliver a wide range of outputs including campaign assets, brand collateral and high‑accuracy long‑form documents.
• Shape the design vision across branding, digital and integrated campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency standards.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, content creators and account teams to produce cohesive, compliant solutions for healthcare clients.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of proven experience in a design/creative role within an agency environment.
• Strong, non‑negotiable experience in healthcare or pharma design, with an understanding of industry compliance and detail‑orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
• Sharp eye for layout precision and meticulous attention to referencing, spelling and formatting.
• Familiarity with Figma or other UI/design tools (nice to have).
• Experience using After Effects and Premiere Pro (nice to have).
