Deputy Manager, Exams & Results

About the role

The Deputy Manager, Examinations and Results supports the operational delivery of critical university-wide examination and results administration services. The role provides day-to-day leadership and oversight so that these high-volume, time-critical functions are delivered accurately, consistently and with a strong focus on the student experience. It sits within the Division of Student Engagement and Education Management (SEEM), which reports to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education).

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of university-wide examinations and results processing.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of these services.
• Work closely with academic and professional staff across ANU and build strong relationships.
• Improve operational processes and enhance the student experience.

Required profile

• Experience in student administration or complex service delivery.
• Organised and collaborative leader with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Able to support staff development and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
• Rights to live and work in Australia; mandatory pre-employment declarations and background checks apply.

What we offer

• Salary package of $124,392 to $133,017 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
• Full-time, continuing position.
