Department Manager - Warringah Mall

About the role

H&M is looking for a Department Manager for its Warringah Mall store. You will support the Sales and Profit goals by setting a plan for your department to deliver a great customer experience, while supporting your team's development through succession planning, talent development and structured performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and follow up Sales and Profit KPIs regularly, and work with Visual Merchandisers to maximise sales
• Drive the Hello Member programme in line with country goals
• Keep the department meeting H&M standards, following up with the Customer Experience Tool
• Work with the Visual Team on implementing the Commercial Handbook
• Evaluate and manage team performance, give regular feedback, run performance reviews and development plans, and take action to improve performance
• Build a talent pipeline within the department to meet business and store needs

Required profile

• Positive, inclusive and creative leader who enjoys being on the shop floor with colleagues and customers
• Previous leadership experience in a similar role with proven results in driving commercial KPIs and team development
• Customer centric mindset and strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced business
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to delegate, follow up and give straightforward, coaching-focused feedback
