Dental Assistant / Receptionist (4 Days Per Week)

About the role

Evatt Dental Care is looking for a friendly, organised and patient-focused Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join its team on a casual basis, working four days per week. The role combines chairside assistance with reception duties, supporting both the clinical and administrative sides of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
• Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
• Greeting patients and managing appointments
• Answering phone and email enquiries
• Processing payments and health fund claims
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting the team with day-to-day administration and clinical tasks

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a must
• Experience in dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Knowledge of the D4W system is an advantage
