Practice Manager - Evatt Dental Care

About the role

Evatt Dental Care is looking for a motivated and organised Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its practice in Evatt, ACT. This is a full-time, hands-on role combining leadership, reception duties and clinical support, dedicated one day per week to practice management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reception duties, including greeting patients, answering calls, booking appointments and coordinating patient flow
• Deliver a welcoming and positive patient experience
• Oversee practice operations and administration on one day per week
• Support the team with rostering, performance, training and general operational tasks
• Monitor practice performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Support clinicians and Dental Assistants so the practice runs efficiently
• Step in as a Dental Assistant when required to support clinical operations
• Ensure clinical rooms are prepared, stocked and maintained to a high standard
• Support infection control, sterilisation and compliance procedures
• Build strong relationships with patients, clinicians and the wider support team

Required profile

• Previous management experience in healthcare, medical, dental or a similar service-based environment
• Experience in reception, administration or customer service
• Genuine commitment to patient care and excellent service
• Flexibility to move between reception, clinical support and management responsibilities

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach able to support a busy team
