Demand Planner

About the role

We are looking for a commercially astute Demand Planner to join Australia’s eCommerce leader. You will manage accurate forecasts and replenishment plans, ensuring optimal stock coverage for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve forecast accuracy across all product lines by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage purchase orders and propose process improvements.
• Import products and manage stock to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Analyse logistics and warehousing costs, optimise shipment sizes and frequency.
• Conduct regular demand analysis to prevent stock‑outs and aged inventory.
• Partner with Category Managers to align stock levels with sales and promotional activity.

Required profile

• University degree in Commerce, Business, Mathematics or a related field.
• Experience in Demand Planning, Inventory or Stock Control, preferably in retail, eCommerce or FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data quickly.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships.
• Ability to multitask and manage numerous priorities simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using demand‑planning software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
