Data Scientist - Remote

About the role

This remote contractor position focuses on training next‑generation AI systems by providing high‑quality, real‑world data. You will use your domain expertise to shape how models learn, reason, and perform, without needing prior AI experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse data sets to ensure integrity and readiness for analysis.
• Develop, validate, and implement statistical models that extract actionable insights from complex data.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business improvement opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations through compelling visualizations and reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with team members to design and execute end‑to‑end data projects, from ideation to delivery.
• Continuously improve analytical methodologies and automate data workflows.
• Communicate data‑driven recommendations clearly in written and verbal formats.

Required profile

• Strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques.
• Proven experience handling large, complex data sets and ensuring data quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity.
• Meticulous attention to detail throughout the data lifecycle.

Required skills

• Python or R for data manipulation and modeling.
• Statistical modeling and predictive modeling expertise.
• Data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
• Data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, or comparable libraries.
