About the role

We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation that is expanding its Data Science function. This permanent, hybrid role in Sydney offers a modern technical environment, strong mentorship, and the chance to make a real impact on business‑critical modelling problems.

Key responsibilities

• Join a mature Data Science team to develop and deploy real‑world predictive models.
• Work across the full modelling lifecycle, from data preparation to validation and monitoring.
• Contribute to experimentation, uplift initiatives, and continuous improvement of analytical processes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams to translate insights into actionable solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Data Science role, with exposure to applied modelling, experimentation or advanced analytics.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering).
• Strong technical capability in Python and SQL, and experience working in Azure and Databricks environments.
• Curious, self‑motivated learner who thrives on solving complex problems.
