Data Centre Deployment Manager

About the role

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls company, is looking for an experienced Deployment Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical modular data centre projects in Australia. The role covers deployment, commissioning and handover, working across engineering, construction, commissioning, manufacturing, logistics and customer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and delivery of modular data centre infrastructure projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Plan and manage site readiness, logistics, installation sequencing and commissioning.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and vendors, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls and IT integration.
• Drive outcomes on safety, quality, schedule, customer satisfaction and commercial performance.
• Act as main contact for customers and stakeholders, identify and mitigate risks, and oversee QA/QC and compliance.
• Lead commissioning, performance testing and handover, support Autodesk Construction Cloud adoption, and mentor project and field teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years delivering major construction, infrastructure, building services or mission-critical projects.
• Experience managing M&E civil scopes and leading contractors, consultants and cross-functional teams.
• Stakeholder management and customer-facing skills, strong commercial sense and planning skills.
• Preferred: data centre, modular construction, HVAC or critical infrastructure experience, PMP, Prince2 or equivalent qualification, and ability to travel to sites.
• Australian working rights required; pre-employment checks apply.

Required skills

• Preferred: Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar project management platforms.
• Mechanical, electrical and civil project scope management.
