Data Analyst – Customer Remediation

About the role

Join a leading financial services organisation and support large‑scale customer remediation programmes. You will use data analytics to identify impacted customers, investigate anomalies and help design remediation outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end data analysis for remediation initiatives.
• Identify and quantify impacted customer populations through detailed investigations.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on product, system and customer issues.
• Develop, test and validate remediation methodologies and payment calculations.
• Analyse customer anomalies, exceptions and platform queries.
• Produce insights and reporting to support remediation decisions and governance.
• Support risk, compliance and audit activities with robust data controls and validation.
• Build strong relationships with business, risk and technology stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations using reporting and visualisation tools.

Required profile

• Experience as a Data Analyst in banking, financial services, risk, compliance or remediation environments.
• Proven track record supporting customer remediation programmes or regulatory reviews.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, including root‑cause analysis.
• Understanding of data governance, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Teradata SQL (or strong SQL experience).
• Python for analysis, automation or data validation (desirable).
• Data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
