Data Analyst – 12‑Month Contract (Payroll & HCM Migration)

About the role

We are undertaking a major workforce management and payroll systems transformation and need an experienced Data Analyst to join our Business Improvement team on a 12‑month contract. You will be at the centre of the HCM implementation, turning complex payroll and workforce data into clean, migration‑ready information.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the cleansing, validation and reconciliation of payroll, timesheet and workforce data.
• Design and build ETL pipelines to extract, transform and load data from legacy systems such as Pronto Xi and MicroKeeper.
• Use KNIME to support ETL and system integration across the technology landscape.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, duplicates and inconsistencies across multi‑site payroll datasets.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, People and IT teams to validate employee, roster, allowance and EBA data.
• Develop and maintain data mapping, transformation rules and audit documentation.
• Support parallel‑run testing, reconciliation and data sign‑off, and troubleshoot issues during go‑live and hypercare.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering data migration and data cleansing projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams.
