Data & AI Manager

About the role

As a Data & AI Manager at Sia, you will lead data engineering, data science and AI-driven transformation projects, providing strategic direction to clients while ensuring technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data engineering initiatives, including pipeline development, ETL processing and large‑scale data transformation.
• Design and implement data governance frameworks covering data quality, metadata, MDM and compliance.
• Oversee data architecture, modelling and cloud‑based storage solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP and Oracle.
• Design and deploy AI/ML analytics solutions, predictive modelling and automation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and AI model deployment.
• Implement reporting and analytics using Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight or Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science and AI, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills to drive projects and influence decisions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for leveraging data for business transformation.

Required skills

• SQL, Python for data processing and modelling.
• Azure Data Factory, FiveTran, Matillion, Oracle Data Integration, AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline.
• Azure services (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric) and other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Oracle).
• AI/ML frameworks: Azure ML, TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker.
• BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Low‑code automation: PowerApps.
