Cyber Security Graduate – Entry Level Role

About the role

Join Equity Trustees' growing Cyber Security team as a Graduate. You will start contributing to real security operations from day one, gaining hands‑on experience across multiple security domains while protecting the company’s systems, data and services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts, assist with incident investigations and evidence collection.
• Support vulnerability management by reviewing outputs, updating registers and tracking remediation.
• Assist with identity and access reviews, privileged access tracking and service‑account registers.
• Operate and maintain security tools such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike and vulnerability management platforms.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, registers and evidence for audits and awareness campaigns.
• Participate in training, certifications and on‑the‑job learning across cyber security domains.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in cyber security, information security or technology risk.
• Foundational knowledge of IT concepts (networks, systems, cloud, identity, applications).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first attitude.
• Current or completed tertiary study in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field; entry‑level certifications (e.g., SC‑900, CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC) are a plus.
