Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

CyberCX is seeking a Consultant to lead discovery activities with client stakeholders, shape cyber security strategies and support clients through critical security incidents. The role involves high‑level communication, proposal development and cross‑team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders to define deliverables and outcomes.
• Support the development and implementation of cyber security strategies and solutions.
• Facilitate cyber security awareness among client leadership teams.
• Produce high‑quality proposals, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations and build professional relationships.
• Prepare clients for critical cyber security incidents and advise on strategic direction.
• Collaborate across CyberCX to add value and enable cross‑functional engagement.
• Meet individual financial objectives and utilisation targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cyber security, information systems, computer engineering or related field (preferred).
• Minimum three years of experience in cyber security, preferably with a global consulting firm or large technology company.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to engage senior client stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with understanding of broader business context.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Resilient and agile response to setbacks.

Required skills

• Risk assessment and management.
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISM, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
