Customer Service Team Leader

About the role

Aliaxis is seeking a hands‑on Customer Service Team Leader to manage a team of eight in its North Plympton office. You will coach and mentor staff, handle escalations, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a high‑quality work environment that motivates team members to achieve optimal efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop work plans and team goals, forecasting resources to cover peak call periods.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with customers and internal team members.
• Manage day‑to‑day escalations, investigate complaints, and suggest process improvements.
• Perform general customer service duties when required.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a Customer Service Team Leader, Supervisor or similar leadership role, or extensive customer service experience with a desire to step into leadership.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial or building‑products environments is highly regarded.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring and developing others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with excellent problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Required skills

• Experience using ERP or CRM systems.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.
