Customer Service & Sales Consultant - Telstra Retail, Craigieburn

About the role

Telstra is hiring a full-time Customer Service & Sales Consultant for its retail store in Craigieburn. The consultant provides frontline support by helping customers choose products, activate services and troubleshoot basic issues, creating positive experiences through good communication and adherence to retail standards. The role is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers find the right products and services to suit their needs
• Stay up to date with the latest gadgets and services and give informed advice
• Use consultative selling to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Work closely with the team to create a welcoming environment and help achieve store goals

Required profile

• Natural communicator who enjoys making customers' days better
• Solution-oriented, able to tailor advice to each customer
• Motivated to achieve sales targets and KPIs
• Eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
• Resilient and positive, even when busy
• Previous customer-facing experience is a plus but not required

• Annual fixed remuneration of $73,550 per year (junior rates apply for those under 20); penalty rates of 25% after 6 PM on weekdays, 25% on Saturdays, 100% on Sundays and 150% on public holidays
