Customer Service & Sales Consultant

About the role

Medibank is hiring a full-time hybrid Customer Service and Sales Consultant for its Pacific Fair store in Broadbeach. The role is also called a Local Community Consultant and sits in a geographically based, cross-functional team focused on community connections and personalised support. You may also be asked to work at the Helensvale kiosk to support your wider team.

The roster is flexible and rotates Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday work, covering 8am to 8pm; shifts after 5pm are worked from home.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers choose the right health cover and services.
• Support customers across multiple channels: in-store, by phone, online and in the community.
• Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.
• Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how the team works.

Required profile

• No health insurance experience needed; training is provided.
• Skills in customer service, sales, health, retail or community engagement are welcome.
• Great at building rapport and explaining things clearly.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• A team player who is adaptable and proactive, detail-focused and committed to protecting customer privacy.
