Customer Service Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join Micra Accident Repair Centre in Hobart on a permanent full‑time basis. The role involves providing front‑line support to vehicle owners, handling enquiries, and assisting the workshop team with administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers on arrival and maintain a friendly, customer‑focused environment.
• Provide regular updates on repair status and expected completion dates via phone or email.
• Respond to enquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction with the service experience.
• Support management with inventory tracking of parts, paint and consumables.
• Liaise with insurance providers to coordinate claims and repair authorisations.
• Handle telephone and email correspondence and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer service role; automotive experience is preferred.
• Full Australian work rights.
• Professional, personable and able to build strong relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work collaboratively with a team.
