Customer Service Coordinator at Sydney Airport

About the role

The Customer Service Coordinator will act as the primary link between customers and the workshop team at TCR's Sydney Airport location, ensuring a high‑quality service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication.
• Provide regular updates on equipment availability, repair progress and service timelines via phone, email and in‑person.
• Bridge communication between customers and workshop staff, managing expectations and sharing information clearly.
• Lead and participate in regular customer meetings, delivering operational updates and addressing queries.
• Prepare and share reports, analyse operational data and communicate key insights.
• Resolve customer queries efficiently and escalate issues when required.
• Support workshop leadership by ensuring timely, professional, solutions‑focused communication.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and strengthen long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Confident communicator comfortable with phone contact and stakeholder interaction.
• Previous experience in customer service, service coordination, scheduling or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Calm, positive and customer‑focused attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and proactive approach to anticipate customer needs.
• Effective problem‑solving skills and ability to stay composed under pressure.
