Customer Service Agent

About the role

As a Customer Service Agent at NEXTDC you will be the first professional point of contact for customers and visitors within our data centre facilities. You will ensure a smooth, courteous experience and act as a concierge, handling deliveries and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all visitors promptly and professionally.
• Provide accurate advice on service requests and incidents, both reactive and proactive.
• Answer telephone calls from internal and external customers.
• Coordinate customer and company events, conduct site inductions and manage induction paperwork.
• Audit critical facility stock and replenish levels as required.
• Communicate with customers in person, via phone, email and ticketing system, delivering first‑level resolution or escalating as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and face‑to‑face.
• Strong interpersonal and written/ verbal communication abilities.
• Professional appearance and efficient manner.
• Effective time‑management, multitasking and independent work ethic.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Australian citizenship for NV1 security clearance.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficient with the MS Office Suite.
