Customer Service Agent – High Volume Inbound Calls

About the role

DHL Express Regional Hub is recruiting Customer Service Agents for multiple long-term temporary positions in its frontline contact centre in Brisbane CBD, close to public transport. This is a very high volume inbound role focused on quality and customer experience, with genuine temporary-to-permanent opportunities. The position starts on 16 November.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls for new bookings
• Track and trace shipments
• Provide excellent service to customers with freight enquiries, using problem-solving skills to move each query to the next stage

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience and a genuine passion for service excellence in a high volume environment
• Vibrant, energetic and fun-loving attitude
• Attention to detail, sound computer skills and high levels of reliability and accountability
• Ability to work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 6.00am and 8.00pm, with an average of one Saturday shift per month
• Applicants must be able to work the full term; Work Holiday Visa holders are welcome, and a federal police check and pre-placement screening are required

• Excellent telephone manner and strong verbal communication

What we offer

• Pay of $42.23 per hour plus superannuation and a monthly bonus of $50-$500, with possible additional incentives
• Training of 2-3 weeks combining classroom and monitored calling
• Possible extension of the minimum six-month duration and consideration for a permanent position
