Customer Service Agent (Cairns)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Customer Service Agent to join our Cairns branch. The on‑site role involves handling inbound and outbound enquiries by phone and email, providing information about pest control and hygiene services, and supporting customers with bookings, scheduling and service follow‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and initiate phone and email enquiries, delivering accurate information about our services.
• Assist customers with booking appointments, scheduling visits and coordinating follow‑up actions.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with technicians and branch staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain and update customer records in internal CRM and booking systems.
• Handle billing queries and ensure accurate documentation.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, safety and quality in all interactions.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused mindset with proven experience in a contact‑center or service‑based environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident phone etiquette and professional email writing.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cairns, collaborate effectively in a team and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Previous experience in trades, facilities or service industries is an advantage.
• Relevant customer‑service certificates or training are beneficial.
