About the role

Join IKEA as a Customer Operations Manager and lead the delivery of an inspiring shopping journey for our guests. This temporary full‑time position (12 months) focuses on driving a customer‑focused culture, analysing performance metrics and supporting a high‑performing team in a busy retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute ideas and insights to the local customer relations action plan and its implementation.
• Promote a customer‑focused culture throughout the store and ensure an inspiring shopping journey.
• Lead, coach and develop the full team, fostering individual growth and high performance.
• Implement global solutions, services and tools that support daily customer operations.
• Analyse customer‑related and financial KPIs, address root causes of dissatisfaction and manage the compensation budget.
• Provide a family‑friendly environment that converts visitors into happy customers.
• Ensure efficient, cost‑effective execution of the payment process.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners, contribute to service agreements and support co‑workers in execution.
• Secure operational excellence in daily activities to enhance the customer journey.

Required profile

• Temporary full‑time (76 hrs/fortnight) for 12 months.
• Availability to work a rotating roster with day, evening and alternating weekend shifts.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Analytical mindset to interpret KPI data and drive improvements.
• Commitment to delivering a customer‑friendly, efficient service.
