Customer Experience Customer Success Specialist – Security

About the role

The Customer Experience (CX) organisation at Cisco is seeking a seasoned Customer Success Specialist to drive security product adoption and deliver measurable business value for customers in the North Sydney region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact workshops, Expert‑Insight‑Series sessions and Accelerators to guide customers from purchase to value realization.
• Develop and execute onboarding roadmaps, baseline environments, and document adoption plans and multi‑functional communications.
• Identify and mitigate adoption risks, handle expectations, and resolve integration issues promptly.
• Provide strategic and tactical guidance, lead architectural initiatives and incorporate Cisco‑validated designs.
• Act as the voice of the customer, feeding insights to Cisco Engineering and Product Management.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in security consulting or technical customer success.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Advanced certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, and preferably CCIE.

Required skills

• Expert‑level knowledge of NGFW, Secure Workload, ISE, Secure Access, Umbrella, DUO and XDR/SNA.
• Understanding of security integration with SD‑WAN and Data Center ACI architectures.
• Lifecycle management of security solutions across global ecosystems.
• Strong technical communication and workshop facilitation abilities.
