Senior Solutions Engineer (Splunk) – Sydney

About the role

Cisco is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the adoption of Splunk solutions for enterprise customers in Sydney, Australia. You will work closely with sales, customer success and product teams to deliver technical value and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate and evangelise Splunk products through onsite sessions, webinars and field events.
• Lead discovery calls, conduct proof‑of‑value demonstrations and workshops, and address complex technical inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and enhance customer success.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of enterprise pre‑sales experience with a technical focus.
• Ability to understand complex application environments and diverse machine‑data sources.
• Proven track record of articulating technical solutions to customers and partners.
• Comfort working in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of Splunk solutions.
• Experience with observability technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and Serverless.
• Experience with security solutions including SIEM, SOAR and vulnerability detection.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, open‑source technologies, search engines and query languages.
