Customer Engagement Specialist

About the role

The Customer Engagement Specialist will join ANZ’s Business & Private Bank in Adelaide, working on a 12‑month secondment. The role focuses on connecting with new and existing small‑business customers to uncover lending opportunities and provide working‑capital solutions that help them start, run and grow their businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively pursue leads from existing small‑business customers.
• Deliver high‑quality service and tailored solutions across a broad portfolio of small‑business accounts.
• Apply a solid understanding of ANZ’s product suite to match customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong internal networks to facilitate referrals and collaborations.
• Achieve and exceed performance targets through outbound calling and relationship management.
• Refer complex cases to specialist teams as required.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability in business development and partnership building.
• Experience in customer solutioning – understanding needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Strong business analysis skills to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• Effective planning and prioritisation to manage multiple tasks and dependencies.
• Growth‑mindset and willingness to develop new capabilities.
