About the role
LifeHealthcare is seeking a Customer Care Team Leader for its Macquarie Park hub. In this hands‑on role you will lead a high‑performing customer‑care team, drive service excellence and shape a culture where people feel supported and accountable.
Key responsibilities
- Champion a customer‑first mindset, ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
- Coach, mentor and develop Customer Care Consultants and Seniors, creating clear career pathways.
- Monitor performance using data and insights, track KPIs and SLAs, and act on trends.
- Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to optimise processes.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to support broader business objectives.
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment that prioritises wellbeing, engagement and growth.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of proven leadership experience in a customer service or call‑centre environment.
- Strong people‑leadership capability – coaching, motivating, managing performance.
- Data‑driven decision‑making with ability to balance people outcomes and operational results.
- Empathetic, accountable and energetic leadership style.
Required skills
- Data analysis and performance reporting.
- KPI and SLA monitoring.
- Experience with customer‑service platforms or CRM systems.
