Customer Banking Specialist - Success (2x Part-Time Roles)

About the role

The Retail Bank is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience to its 10 million+ personal and small business customers. It is looking for a Customer Banking Specialist to join its Success branch in Perth on a part-time basis. Two positions are available, each with a fixed roster.

Position 1: 23 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday 9:15am-4:00pm, Thursday 12:00pm-4:00pm and Friday 9:15am-4:00pm.
Position 2: 21.25 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 11:00am-4:00pm and Friday 9:15am-4:15pm.
Rosters are predetermined, so availability must match the chosen roster before applying.

Key responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations.
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch so they leave satisfied.
• Interview customers and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and associated products.
• Follow bank processes, including accurate transaction reconciliation and review of customers' financial positions.
• Take part in community events and fundraising activities.
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and act on service gaps.

Required profile

• Ability to ask the right questions, act with integrity and put the customer at the centre of everything.
• Passion for service excellence, able to work independently and to refer customers to other specialists when needed.
• Able to work in a busy, commercial retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers.
• Genuine passion for the customer and for doing the right thing.
