Customer Banking Specialist - Salisbury (Part-Time)

About the role

The Retail Bank is looking for a Customer Banking Specialist to join its Salisbury branch on a part-time basis, covering 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:15am to 4:15pm. Rosters are predetermined, so candidates should check availability before applying. The role works closely with the Branch Manager and colleagues to deliver a good experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch
• Interview customers and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and related products
• Follow bank processes, including accurate transaction reconciliation and review of customers' financial positions
• Take part in community events and fundraising activities
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and improve service

• Ability to ask the right questions, act with integrity and put the customer first
• Passion for service excellence, able to work independently and to refer customers to other specialists
• Able to work in a busy, commercial retail environment while seeing the big picture
• Genuine passion for the customer
