Customer Banking Specialist Relief - Corrigin Hub

About the role

CommBank is looking for a Customer Banking Specialist Relief to join its Corrigin Hub. This is a full-time position covering the Corrigin, Kondinin, Narembeen and Merredin branches, on a roster of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:50pm. Rosters are predetermined, so candidates must be available for those times before applying.

Key responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations.
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch so they leave satisfied.
• Interview customers and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and associated products.
• Follow bank processes and procedures, including accurate transaction reconciliation and review of customers' financial positions.
• Take part in community events and fundraising activities.
• Look after the safety and wellbeing of the team.
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and take action to fix service gaps and improve service.

Required profile

• Ability to ask the right questions, find the right solutions, act with integrity and put the customer at the centre of everything.
• Passion for service excellence, able to work independently and to refer customers to other specialist team members when needed.
• Able to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers.
• Genuine passion for the customer and for doing the right thing.
