CRM Account Director - Federal Government

About the role

ServiceNow is looking for a CRM Senior Account Director who is a customer-facing domain expert and drives innovative business solutions with Federal Government customers. The role oversees the market success of ServiceNow's CRM and Industry solutions, which sit on its Service Management platform and give enterprises a single source of truth for consistent process execution. The position is based in Canberra.

Key responsibilities

• Build client relationships and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory
• Develop a sales strategy for the territory, including a target prospect list and regional sales plan
• Arrange and run initial executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings, working closely with the Solution Consulting team to deliver demonstrations of the CRM solution
• Manage the sales process and close opportunities
• Manage accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue
• Support regional partner channels to deliver an effective customer experience
• Use internal technology to manage leads, forecast accurately and set territory plans and goals
• Use data from CRM, social media, search engines and AI tools
• Occasional travel for training or meetings may be required

Required profile

• 12+ years in sales, with proven new business sales of enterprise-class Customer Experience or other business solutions
• Experience selling to Federal Government customers
• Experience navigating short and long, complex sales cycles
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related discipline
• Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making or problem-solving, such as using AI-powered tools, automating workflows or analysing AI-driven insights

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of sales force automation, customer service management, enterprise resource planning or other business application technologies is ideal
• Understanding of business sales processes
