Crane Rigger - Pilbara Shutdowns

About the role

Prime Recruitment is supporting its client to source experienced Crane Riggers for shutdown opportunities across Western Australia, mainly in the Pilbara region. Shutdown dates depend on client and project needs, and day and night shifts are available. The work is hands-on, supporting crane and lifting operations with a strong focus on safe lifting practices and site requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated crane rigging experience
• Current Australian driver's licence
• High Risk Work Licence with RI or RA classification as a minimum
• Australian working rights
• Pre-employment requirements: drug and alcohol screening, pre-employment medical and Rigging VOC; candidates with current medical and recent screening may be prioritised

Required skills

• Current Rigging Verification of Competency (VOC)
• Working at heights qualification issued within the last 2 years
• White Card
• Highly desirable: HRWL RA Advanced Rigger, Tier 1 site inductions, FMG and Rio Tinto site inductions, previous major crane and lifting shutdown experience, current site medical and drug and alcohol screening
