About the role
The Alliance Française de Brisbane is seeking a full‑time Courses and Office Assistant to support the smooth operation of its language programmes and front‑of‑house services. You will split your week between administrative tasks related to student enrolments, memberships and private tuition, and welcoming visitors at the reception desk.
Key responsibilities
- Process student enrolments, manage membership records and coordinate private tuition schedules (3 days per week).
- Handle general office administration, including data entry, filing and correspondence.
- Provide a friendly and professional reception service, answering phones and greeting visitors (2 days per week).
- Maintain the CRM/CMS system, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
- Assist with occasional evening and Saturday morning duties as required.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in an education or customer‑facing environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
- Strong organisational ability, attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
- Fluent written and spoken English; French at B1 level or higher.
- Flexible, reliable and able to work autonomously.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience using CRM/CMS platforms, preferably Oncord.
- Basic IT troubleshooting capabilities.
