Country Director

About the role

The Country Director, Australia will be AB InBev's senior accountable leader for the Australian business, owning the full P&L and driving the commercial strategy to translate growth ambition into a sustainable, partner‑led operating model.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full country economics, making choices that improve sustainable growth and profitability.
• Build senior relationships, negotiate priorities and hold partners accountable for performance.
• Translate AB InBev ambition into clear market choices across brands, packs, customers, channels and investments.
• Design routes to market and customer models that improve access, control and execution quality.
• Build long‑term brand equity while delivering annual volume, revenue and margin commitments.
• Develop teams, decision rights and routines that raise market capability over time.

Required profile

• 15+ years of senior commercial, country management, general management, sales leadership or partner‑led market leadership experience, preferably in beer, beverages, FMCG or premium consumer goods.
• Proven full P&L ownership with ability to manage revenue, volume, margin, trade investment and financial delivery across annual and multi‑year horizons.
• Strong experience managing strategic partners, distributors, retailers or route‑to‑market partners at senior executive level.
• Deep commercial capability across AOP, customer strategy, RGM, trade marketing, RTM, portfolio, innovation and performance management.
• Experience leading teams and matrix organisations where influence, governance and clear decision rights are required.
• Executive communication capability, high ownership, strong judgment and ability to create clarity in complex, partner‑dependent markets.
