Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

Grant Thornton Australia is seeking a Manager to join its high‑performing Corporate Tax team in Sydney. You will provide tailored tax compliance and advisory services to a broad range of corporate clients, supporting them through audits, international tax issues, governance obligations, and M&A transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall client engagements, including relationship management, tax compliance and advisory services.
• Identify growth opportunities and support business development initiatives.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects in tax compliance and process optimisation.
• Coach, mentor and inspire junior team members.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce or Law.
• Relevant professional qualification (CA, CPA, CTA or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in corporate tax and advisory, preferably in a public‑practice environment.
• Proactive client‑focused approach with strong ownership and accountability.
