Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

Join the Tax Consulting team in Melbourne to provide high‑level tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of multinational groups, large private companies and dynamic start‑ups. You will work on complex cross‑border matters, tax structuring, M&A due diligence and liaison with the ATO.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake tax research, analyse and interpret Australian and international tax legislation.
• Draft advice on corporate tax, CGT, M&A tax and transfer pricing issues.
• Assist clients with business and investment structuring and tax compliance.
• Liaise and negotiate with the Australian Tax Office on behalf of clients.
• Lead tax due‑diligence assignments and manage compliance for complex corporate clients.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a corporate tax team within an Australian accounting firm.
• Experience in income tax, CGT, corporate tax, M&A tax and international tax.
• Completed or pursuing a Masters of Tax or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills.
