Corporate Lawyer – Associate or Senior Associate

About the role

Cooper Grace Ward is seeking a Corporate/M&A lawyer at associate or senior associate level to join its leading Corporate Advisory team in Brisbane. You will work alongside senior partners on high‑value M&A transactions and a broad range of corporate matters for premium clients across Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on high‑value M&A transactions and related projects.
• Provide general corporate and commercial advice, including governance and joint‑venture structures.
• Conduct due‑diligence investigations and draft key transaction agreements.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and shareholder agreements.

Required profile

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality work.
• Commitment to excellent client service and relationship building.
• Ability to work autonomously and mentor junior team members.

Required skills

• Experience in M&A transactions and corporate law.
• Proficiency in drafting commercial contracts and shareholder agreements.
