About the role
Thomsons is seeking a Lawyer or Associate with 2‑5 years post‑admission experience to join its corporate team in Brisbane. You will work closely with senior partners on a range of corporate matters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute M&A transactions, including due diligence and drafting reports.
- Provide corporate advisory services such as joint ventures, restructures, and governance advice.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial and corporate contracts.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of experience in M&A and corporate advisory, preferably in mid‑market transactions.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with senior partners and junior lawyers.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a client‑focused mindset.
Required skills
- Legal due diligence and report drafting.
- Contract drafting and negotiation.
- Understanding of corporate governance and restructuring.
