Corporate Credit Analyst

About the role

Susquehanna is expanding across APAC and seeks a Corporate Credit Analyst to join its Credit Risk team in Sydney. Working within Trading Operations, you will assess the creditworthiness of clients and institutional counterparties and support the firm’s credit exposure monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, cash flow and other data to evaluate credit risk of new and existing counterparties.
• Prepare written credit assessments and recommendations for client onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Partner with Compliance to perform financial due diligence during onboarding and review processes.
• Monitor APAC counter‑party credit exposures, identify emerging risks and escalate material issues.
• Track market developments and external factors that could affect credit exposures.
• Provide timely commercial credit risk advice to Trading Operations and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, credit risk or a similar role within financial services.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities.
