About the role
Join the GYG family as a Cook, delivering high‑quality Mexican dishes in a fast‑casual environment. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and line crew to ensure a pleasant and prompt service for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to GYG procedures and standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work station.
- Assist customers with orders and provide friendly service.
Required profile
- Advanced English skills (if non‑native).
- RSA certificate.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Outgoing, approachable personality with good communication skills.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS and EFTPOS operation.
- General understanding of Australian currency, payment methods and loyalty cards.
