Contract Administrator – High‑Value Projects in SA

About the role

Join an established South Australian developer/builder with over 20 years of experience delivering residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will work closely with senior leadership, the Director of Development and project delivery teams to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of high‑value developments from procurement through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts from procurement to project completion, including subcontractor agreements and scopes of work.
• Manage progress claims, variations, extensions of time and subcontractor correspondence while monitoring project costs, commitments and budgets.
• Review subcontractor pricing, assess commercial implications and identify risks and opportunities throughout delivery.
• Support procurement, subcontractor engagement, forecasting, cost reporting and financial administration.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract administration within commercial construction or development.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, variations, progress claims and cost control.
• Excellent attention to detail, commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience administering subcontractor packages from procurement through to completion.
• Proficiency in reviewing subcontractor pricing and assessing commercial implications.
