Contract Administrator - Energy & Industrial

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Contract Administrator to support its growing Energy & Industrial business in Queensland. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring contract compliance and delivering accurate project performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Support negotiation of commercial and contractual matters with senior staff.
• Draft, review, administer and maintain client and subcontractor agreements.
• Assist with variations, extensions of time, claims and amendments.
• Support project managers with change control procedures and contractual risk management.
• Monitor contractual compliance, identify and escalate risks.
• Assist with audits, governance reviews and internal compliance reporting.
• Track contract deliverables, milestones, KPIs and reporting obligations.
• Help mitigate disputes through early issue identification and preparation of contractual correspondence.
• Maintain accurate contract records and document control using Aurecon’s systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of contract administration processes and templates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract administration within engineering, construction, or energy & industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical capability with exceptional attention to detail.
• A degree in Law, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
