Continuous Improvement Facilitator

About the role

JBS Dinmore Plant is looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Facilitator to join its team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role suits a technically astute person who enjoys collaborative, cross-functional work and wants to drive continuous improvement across the plant's meat processing operations. The facilitator works with production, quality, safety, maintenance and leadership teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, yield and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, lead and support initiatives that improve operational performance across the meat processing operations
• Work with production, quality, safety, maintenance and leadership teams to build a culture of continuous improvement
• Focus on improving safety, quality, productivity, yield and cost efficiency while ensuring sustainable outcomes and employee engagement

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering process improvements in a manufacturing, food production or FMCG environment
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalent CI qualification)
• Mechanical aptitude; a background in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or Maintenance is highly regarded
• Experience applying Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business Improvement, Manufacturing or a related discipline are advantageous
